The TV Guide Network is currently airing episodes of Early Edition at 10 AM (CDT) weekdays. That...should be good, right?
I mean, aside from the programming guide scroll that cuts off the bottom 1/6 of the screen.
BUT.
The cuts they make are appalling.
Case in point: Today's ep is "Mum's the Word". They just cut the entire conversation in which Chuck tells Gary that Marissa's going to Egypt with Ali (let's just...skip over the appalling character convenience of that original plot point. for now.) and they get all big-brother-y and concerned and way to cut out the entire point of this show and way to break my heart, TVGN.
*sigh*
Also, the current commercial they're showing, where Walmart replaces steaks in a Chicago restaurant with their own brand, is simply past the point of believability. I mean, we in Omaha want to believe we have the best steaks, and maybe we do, but Chicago's in the same part of the country. Unless they pulled in a bunch of people who've never eaten steak before, there's just no way they'd mistake Walmart steaks for something you'd get in a premium Chicago steakhouse.
ION, today could stand to improve, stat.
